BTE Computer Solutions: History
BTE Computer Solutions all started in high school when Taariq and I were discussing the large number of internet users that become infected with viruses and spyware. We came up with an idea of starting a business that helps users clean, protect and run their computers efficiently and safely. Our goals were to offer services that were low in price, but effective.
Later that day we consulted our friends as to whether they would want to help us work toward this goal, but instantly they claimed that we would be unable to achieve this and questioned the business' success, as they believed we were too young. This then made us even more determined to set up the business, as a way to work towards our goal as well as proving that we were competent enough to run a business.
We started seeking those who were skilled and willing to join our cause. We came across Ben Childs who knows the ins-and-outs of how computers and the internet works - a valuable addition to our team.
With him we then decided that we needed a website thus Shane Goulden, CEO of OptimalForce Hosting, was immediately contacted. Taariq and I discussed our plans with him and he agreed to support us to set up this business. With a website host and domain we were now able to start designing the website.

From there we then decided to take it slow and prepare this business thoroughly. Over a period of 6 months we worked on setting up our online service in order to produce a constant source of income. We then recruited Jessica Ji - a highly skilled Photoshop designer, and were able to create ads, business cards and other important graphics. Constant meetings were held and we worked out set processes for each and every one of our services. We then setup a phone service, meaning all that was left to do was print off our ads, which brings us to where we currently are.
Overall, setting up this business has been an interesting experience. We met a few challenges whilst along the way, but overcame them.
In the future I hope this works well for both the BTE Team and our clients, and I look forward to receiving some first hand experience that will benefit me later in life.
