Society Webbed Thanks to Trio
A local group promoting native plants in the area has its own website thanks to the efforts of three local students.
Taariq Esat, Brandon Tsang and Ben Childs volunteered their time to help the Parramatta and Hills District of the Australian Plants Society develop the website.
Taariq said they were happy to volunteer. "It was a massive experience, it was good to help people out", he said.
Christine Coe, a member of the local group, worked with the trio over 15 months. She said the website will encourage people to grow native plants. "They're great for the environment," she said.
Mrs Coe said she was impressed, not only by the students' willingness to volunteer their time, but also the way they went about their work.
"They really are fine young men," she said.
